Maryam is a dedicated advocate for quality education, student success, and community engagement. As a nurse, mother, and community leader, she has spent years working directly with children and families to ensure that every student has the resources and opportunities they need to thrive.
As the founder of ICTC Youth Foundation, Maryam has led over 40 projects supporting youth in education, mental health, and personal development. Her passion for equity, inclusion, and student well-being has been recognized through multiple awards from the Ontario Government, Members of Parliament (MPs), and Provincial Parliament (MPPs).

Building a Stronger Future: Reinforcing Math, English, and Home Learning

I support bringing back the Homework Book to provide students with structured practice and a stronger connection between school and home learning.
Strengthening Math and English will equip students with essential skills for future success. I will work with parents, educators, and the school board to ensure every child has the support they need to excel.
